Today is the 7th anniversary of Aaliyah’s death. I hold this young lady close to my heart…such a beautiful and talented person who seemed to be humble and full of spirit. It is still a little hard for me to watch this video, but I think it shows her at her best…

Yes she was a young girl taken away too early.

It never occured to me how much she meant to people, I'm still learning that.

You know I love me some Aaliyah! I remember talking about her when you posted her at your other site. She definitely left us too soon, many have tried to jack her swag/style but no one even comes close!

Man Marva don't get me started tearing up. I'm STILL upset over her death after all this time. She passed the week before 9/11 and I was just done for several weeks. I still miss her. She truly did things her way; always moving forward and exploring musically.
